Moscow Railway intends to put up for sale the Riga Railway Station with an initial starting price of 4 billion rubles, according to Anastasia Kotkovskaya, the first deputy head of the RZD’s corporate property department.
The lot includes two buildings totaling 7,700 square meters and a land plot of 1.4 hectares.
Potential uses for the Riga station’s territory include establishing a hotel complex, restaurant, museum, library, or scientific facility.
The bidding is scheduled to take place at the beginning of March.
